Oakland Elementary Physical Education
Oakland Elementary School is located West of the Ashley in Charleston, South Carolina. We have about 500 students ranging from K4 to 5th grade. All of the students at Oakland recieve Physical Education once a week for 60 minutes. Take a look at some of the things your child is learning in class. - I have been a Physical
- Education teacher for 4 years. The primary objective of physical education is for students to demonstrate competency in motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activities. In my class I will strive to ensure students develop competency in locomotor, non-locomotor, and manipulative skills as well as the basic skills of a variety of sports. What they learn in my class will hopefully lead to a physically active lifestyle that promotes lifelong wellness!
